Jesus….. where do I begin, again?? Basically a few weeks ago Ed Sheeran made his Limerick debut in Thomand Park. I had seen him in cork with my better half the week before hand and by jesus what a rollercoaster of a gig , the production, the lights, the friggin fireworks!!!!
Ask a limerick person when was a gig of that scale in the city last and they will fondly and proudly tell you “Pink” and “Bruce Springsteen”. There are plenty more and I’m also jealous. 🥰
Riverfest back in action again, weather was somewhat shite but that didn’t stop anyone turning up supporting local. weather it be sliding down a zip line, canoe on the river shannon to tasting local and World cuisines in arthur’s Quay!!! But what about “The Great Limerick Run”???
Honestly I didn’t see any of it, but while at work it sounded pretty unreal!!! Thousands of people train for it and fair play to all, (I can barely run a bath, nevermind a marathon)
But what about the two ladies from Castlerea?? Two sisters, proud Sisters and rightly so, As an Olympic champion and World Champion embrace each other knowing that they owe nobody nothing while coming home to a,beautiful hero’s welcome in Castlerea 😊
